You Break Through

I have been going to Dentists of Tucson for several years. All things considered, I like them. I think Dr. Wall is great. I do have a bit of a problem with the dental hygiene though. I am always billed for oral hygiene instructions, but if I don't start asking a lot of questions, I don't receive much in the way of instructions. I only just recently learned several things about my dental care that I was never told before. Patients have to push and ask a lot of questions to actually get serious oral hygiene instruction. One other thing is that sometimes the dentist checks my teeth, but once in a while, he does not. Isn't my appointment for a cleaning AND checkup? Something I will have to ask the nextime I go.

Laurie was absolutely wonderful! She immediately made me feel calm and comfortable and talked me through the process as she went. I’m someone who likes to understand the “why” behind things, and Laurie took the time to explain things about my teeth and dental care that I’ve honestly wondered about for years.. without me even having to ask. She was also incredibly knowledgeable and seemed to intuitively understand some of the challenges I may have with my teeth just from her exam. I really appreciated how thorough and informative she was without ever making me feel overwhelmed or uncomfortable. I would highly recommend Laurie to anyone looking for a hygienist who not only takes great care of your teeth but also takes the time to make sure you understand your dental health. She was fantastic!
